  • Meet director of the second Long Course Nationals held at UIC
  • Co-founder of Illinois Masters swimming along with Bobbi Turcotte, Paul Hutinger and Frank Havlicek.
  • Chair of Central Masters Swimming Committee, Illinois Masters Swim Committee and Illinois Masters
  • Founder of Barrington Masters in 1984, the year she started law school
  • CENAAUR and Kaya Award winner in service to Illinois Masters
  • Survivor of two heart attacks and beneficiary of overall good health, thanks to masters swimming
  • Medal winner and FINA record holder at three FINA World Championships
